2012年12月12日，上海松江 – 今天，有機(jī)硅、硅基技術(shù)和創(chuàng)新領(lǐng)域的全球領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者 -- 道康寧公司在上海舉行了其松江工廠擴(kuò)建項(xiàng)目落成典禮。該擴(kuò)建項(xiàng)目投資數(shù)百萬(wàn)美元，是中國(guó)紙張離型劑工業(yè)迄今為止最大的單項(xiàng)投資項(xiàng)目之一。新建成的無(wú)溶劑有機(jī)硅離型劑生產(chǎn)裝置使道康寧進(jìn)一步加強(qiáng)了區(qū)域供應(yīng)鏈效率，也使中國(guó)和亞太地區(qū)的客戶能夠使用本地生產(chǎn)的無(wú)溶劑產(chǎn)品，從而給他們帶來(lái)了更多的經(jīng)濟(jì)和環(huán)境效益。

　　道康寧松江工廠于1997年建成，占地12公頃，是公司在中國(guó)第一家生產(chǎn)工廠。該生產(chǎn)基地的產(chǎn)品包括乳液、密封膠、粘合劑和密封劑，服務(wù)美容護(hù)理、電子、建筑、紙張以及紡織品和皮革等許多行業(yè)。此次松江工廠擴(kuò)建使客戶能采用本地化生產(chǎn)的無(wú)溶劑有機(jī)硅離型劑產(chǎn)品，變得更環(huán)保，而且能夠更好地符合環(huán)境法規(guī)的要求，從而為壓敏工業(yè)帶來(lái)了更多的益處。

　　道康寧嚴(yán)格遵循責(zé)任關(guān)懷®原則，采取多項(xiàng)措施以持續(xù)減少松江工廠的廢棄物排放，降低對(duì)環(huán)境的影響，實(shí)現(xiàn)資源回收利用。例如，在整個(gè)新建的制造系統(tǒng)中，最大限度地減少有機(jī)溶劑的使用，降低了公司的總體碳足跡，同時(shí)為客戶提供了更環(huán)保的無(wú)溶劑有機(jī)硅離型劑產(chǎn)品。此外，松江工廠還使用了閉路蒸汽回收系統(tǒng)，回收和再利用生產(chǎn)過(guò)程中產(chǎn)生的蒸汽，這不但降低了產(chǎn)生額外蒸汽的需求，而且減少了生產(chǎn)基地總體水和能源的消耗。

World-class Site Enhances Efficiency for Regional Customers and Bolsters EHS Commitments

　　Songjiang, Shanghai – Dow Corning (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of Dow Corning Corporation, a global leader in silicones, silicon-based technology and innovation, today celebrated the completion of its multi-million USD expansion at the Shanghai Songjiang site that marks one of the largest single investments in China’s paper release industry to date. The newly established solventless silicone manufacturing system demonstrates the company’s continued effort to increasing efficiency in the regional supply chain and brings environmental and financial benefits for customers across China and the Asia Pacific region because no solvents are used.

　　Supported by Mr. Wang Xinkui, Vice Chairman of Shanghai People's Political Consultative Committee; Mr. Zhang Peirong, Songjiang District Vice Governor; William Brekke, Principal Commercial Officer at U.S. Consulate General Shanghai as well as customers in the region and Dow Corning employees, the celebration signifies a key milestone in the company’s development in China and represents Dow Corning’s continued commitment to unleashing the power of silicon as the use of solventless silicone products become a global trend.

　　The 12-hectare Songjiang site was established in 1997 and was Dow Corning’s first manufacturing plant in China. Serving a number of industries, including beauty care, electronics, construction, paper as well as textile and leather, the site today manufactures products ranging from emulsions to sealants, adhesives and encapsulants. The newly established solventless silicone manufacturing system brings further benefits to the local paper industry. By enabling local manufacturers to incorporate solventless silicone release coating products into their production processes, it makes their production has less impact on the environment while better meeting environmental regulations because of the lack of solvent.

　　Strictly adhering to the Responsible Care® principles, a number of measures have been adopted to enable Dow Corning to continue minimizing waste, reducing environmental footprint through less use of solvents and recycling resources at the site. For example, the minimization of organic solvent throughout the newly installed manufacturing system has enabled Dow Corning to reduce its overall impact on the environment. A close-loop steam recovery system has also been adopted to recycle and reuse steam generated as part of the production process, which not only decreases the need to generate additional steam, but also reduces overall water and energy consumption on-site.
