　　2012年是中國(guó)石化建設(shè)世界一流能源化工公司的啟航之年。面對(duì)比預(yù)期更加嚴(yán)峻的經(jīng)營(yíng)形勢(shì)，集團(tuán)公司全體員工團(tuán)結(jié)一心、迎難而上，奮力拼搏、攻堅(jiān)克難，生產(chǎn)經(jīng)營(yíng)實(shí)現(xiàn)穩(wěn)中有進(jìn)，原油天然氣產(chǎn)量、原油加工量、成品油和化工產(chǎn)品經(jīng)營(yíng)量均穩(wěn)定增長(zhǎng)，安全環(huán)保、節(jié)能減排、科技創(chuàng)新、管理創(chuàng)新、隊(duì)伍建設(shè)等各方面工作都取得新進(jìn)步。在海外，權(quán)益油氣儲(chǔ)量、產(chǎn)量、收入、利潤(rùn)再上新臺(tái)階，煉化和倉(cāng)儲(chǔ)設(shè)施加快布局，石油工程和煉化工程承包持續(xù)增長(zhǎng)，國(guó)際貿(mào)易能力進(jìn)一步增強(qiáng)。同時(shí)，我們?cè)诤Ｍ庹J(rèn)真履行社會(huì)責(zé)任，為所在國(guó)和當(dāng)?shù)厣鐣?huì)經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展、擴(kuò)大就業(yè)、改善民生、培養(yǎng)人才、保護(hù)環(huán)境等方面做出了積極貢獻(xiàn)。這些成績(jī)令人鼓舞、來(lái)之不易，飽含著你們的智慧和汗水，也凝結(jié)著你們家人的理解和支持。無(wú)論是遠(yuǎn)離祖國(guó)和親人的中國(guó)籍員工，還是加入中國(guó)石化大家庭的外國(guó)籍員工，大家都克服了語(yǔ)言、文化、環(huán)境等許許多多困難，為中國(guó)石化海外事業(yè)的發(fā)展付出了辛勤努力，我們衷心感謝大家！

Dear overseas colleagues,

　　As we embrace the upcoming Chinese Spring Festival, please allow me, on behalf of SINOPEC, to send you and your families warmest greetings and best wishes.

　　Year 2012 marks the beginning of our voyage to building a world leading energy and chemical corporation. We acted together in the face of severe market challenges and achieved new progress on all fronts. We recorded steady growth in oil and gas production, refining throughput, output and sales of refined oil products and chemicals. Remarkable achievements were made in HSE, energy conservation, R&D, management innovation and human resources development. Outside China, our revenue and profit hit new high. Overseas refining and storage projects accelerated, petroleum and petrochemical services expanded, trading and supply further grew. More importantly, as a responsible corporate citizen, we powered host countries’ social and economic development by creating more jobs, sponsoring social welfare programmes, training local people, and protecting the environment.

　　These encouraging achievements were not made easy. They would not have been possible without your hard work and dedication, or the kind understanding and support from your families. SINOPEC is a big family with members of different nationalities. Each and every one of you overcame numerous challenges in languages and cultural differences to grow our businesses and build our images. We at the headquarters deeply appreciate your contribution.

　　We expect still challenging environment to meet operational targets this year. I encourage you to forge ahead, being confident, progressive, innovative and pragmatic for even greater success. I also hope that you would practice our business principle of integrity, win-win, and low carbon growth concept. You are ambassadors of SINOPEC, and you share the responsibility of promoting harmonious development of host countries, communities, partners, employees and the environment.
